Stripped logs are among my favourite building materials these days, and they're used to great effect to create this unusual take on a modern-style house, made primarily from wood of different kinds. This lovely creation by SheepGG has just the right amount of space, lighting, and touches of flora around the sides to turn it into a wonderfully welcoming abode. These Minecraft houses aren’t for vertigo sufferers, but Minecraft treehouses are a great way to escape the creepers that come out at night to save you time repairing your Minecraft shield. No, really, we’re not exaggerating; this tiny house is only three by four meters, but it has everything you need, including a bed, workbench, furnaces, and storage space. Okay, so bamboo planks might not be the best-looking wood variant Minecraft has ever seen, but it’s pretty unique – and bamboo rafts are awesome. This build requires you to create not only the house but also the tree from scratch, but the result is a nicely structured and aesthetically pleasing home with plenty of space inside for all your needs. It's a cosy little hole-in-the-ground, good when you just want something small and functional that nonetheless looks appealing to passersby. It strikes me as the perfect home away from home, a quick and easy forward base to build when your true home is too far away.
